In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, I'm reflecting on some of the most meaningful work I've had the privilege to do: creating portraits for McLean Hospital’s Deconstructing Stigma campaign.

Through my lens, I’ve had the honor of photographing individuals who’ve bravely stepped forward to share their mental health journeys. These portraits go beyond a photograph — they are visual testaments to strength, vulnerability, and the power of speaking up. Every face, every story reminds us that we are not alone — and that there is no shame in asking for help.
